Job Overview

EAP Construction is looking for dependable Skilled Laborers to join our team. In this role, you’ll support carpenters and trades crews, assist with concrete work, and contribute to the overall success of construction projects. This is a hands-on position that requires flexibility, initiative, and a strong focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist carpenters with cutting, measuring, and assembling components
2. Perform concrete tasks such as chipping, sacking, and patching
3. Load, unload, and move materials, equipment, and supplies
4. Maintain site cleanliness and organization, including sweeping and waste disposal
5. Operate basic construction equipment under supervision (compactors, jackhammers, forklifts)
6. Refuel construction machinery and vehicles as needed
7. Support excavation tasks, including trenching and material handling
8. Follow all safety regulations and contribute to a safe worksite
9. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or project managers

Requirements

1. Valid Driver’s License
2. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in all weather conditions
3. Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment (asset)
4. Strong teamwork and communication skills
5. Able to work independently when required
6. Commitment to health, safety, and proper use of PPE (including respirators)
